In 1977, George and Merline Serago took their knowledge of small business and decided to open Phoenix Tool & Gage, Inc. Seeing a vacancy in the market for American produced machinery, Phoenix Tool & Gage, Inc began producing fixtures and gages with the highest standards rivaling established companies.

When George Serago passed away in 2008, the company gracefully changed into the capable hands of his wife, Merline. Now a woman-owned and family operated business, Phoenix Tool and Gage, Inc carries on its tradition of strong work ethic producing the highest quality products available. Brothers Terry and Babe Serago pride themselves on the use of both manual and computerized machinery providing the best mix of traditional and modern precision.

As plant manager, Babe runs a comfortable and safe environment with staff members averaging 15 years or more with the company while Terry oversees the plant’s grinding department. Phoenix Tool & Gage, Inc receives high ratings from some of the nation’s top companies like Honeywell’s Phoenix and Mexico operations, Hamilton Sundstrand, WL Gore, Parker Hannifin, Chromalloy, Williams International and Foresight Technologies.
